UK REACH deadlines extended

In September 2020, the UK government announced plans to extend the UK REACH registration deadlines from a 2 year period for all substances, to a phased schedule based on volume and hazard profile. This new timeframe with registration deadlines between 2023 & 2027, is welcomed by BASF and eases our concerns of potential supply-chain disruption that the very challenging 2-year duration would have brought. Through webinars and also in direct discussions with several UK based customers the Fuel and Lubricant Solution team informed them about the responsibilities and obligations that BASF is undertaking to ensure the regulatory compliance of their supply is maintained.
