IRGALUBE^® 349

The IRGALUBE^® line of antiwear additives is especially developed for formulating antiwear compressor and hydraulic fluids, gear oils and greases. IRGALUBE^® provides long term lubricant stability together with excellent antiwear and corrosion prevention while protecting industrial and mobile equipment operating at high pressure and temperature. IRGALUBE^®products are hydrolytically stable and provide excellent compatibility with system contaminants such as water, calcium and zinc.

IRGAMET^® 39

IRGAMET^® metal deactivators are yellow metal passivators. High synergism with IRGANOX^® antioxidants gives superior oxidative stability of the fluid. Oil soluble and water soluble products are available, and several are FDA regulated for use in incidental food-contact applications.

Base Stocks

SYNATIVE^® ES 2813

Diester - It can be used as a synthetic basestock for both automotive applications (such as engine oils, transmission oils, axle oils and greases) and industrials applications (e. g. hydraulic oil or neat oils).

SYNATIVE^® ES DPHA

SYNATIVE^® ES DPHA is a branched saturated diester which exhibits excellent thermal and oxidative stability, very good hydrolytic stability and best in class low temperature properties. It also has superior frictional performance which should provide energy efficiency over conventional esters of the same class. SYNATIVE^® ES DPHA can be used as a synthetic basestock for both automotive and industrial applications.

SYNATIVE^® ES DNA

SYNATIVE^® ES DNA is an ester with the following properties:

✓ Very good flow properties over a wide temperature range

✓ Low pour point

✓ Low volatility

✓ High flash point

✓ Good stability in mineral oil and poly-alpha-olefin

✓ Very good compatibility with additives.

BREOX^® PAG range

Polyalkylene glycol base stocks are used in many lubricant applications including gear oils, fire resistant hydraulic fluids, compressor oils, quenchants, metalworking fluids, aluminum processing fluids, chain and NSF HX-1 food grade lubricants. Their high thermal and oxidative stability, excellent lubricity, high film strength / load capacity, anti-wear properties, micropitting resistance, and shear stability make them an ideal choice as base stock for formulating high-performance industrial lubricants.

Metalworking

SYNATIVE^® AC Range

BASF offers a broad portfolio of non-ionic emulsifiers for ease of emulsification and formulation stability in water-based metalworking fluids (soluble oils and semi-synthetic fluids). Products offer superior performance benefits while meeting health and environmental requirements. Beyond that, BASF’s portfolio also includes the next generation of label free emulsifiers (SYNATIVE^® AC LF 420).

BASF offers a broad portfolio of medium and long chain alcohols for ease of emulsification and formulation stability in water-based metalworking fluids (soluble oils and semi-synthetic fluids). Products offer superior performance benefits while meeting health and environmental requirements.

Engine Coolants

GLYSANTIN^®G48^®

The premium antifreeze engine coolant from BASF officially approved by many global automobile manufacturers. GLYSANTIN^® ensures that your cooling system works perfectly all year round. GLYSANTIN^® G48^® is a premium-grade coolant that employs hybrid technology. It contains a mixture of inorganic and organic corrosion inhibitors to protect the cooling system. GLYSANTIN^® G48^® is colored blue green.

GLYSANTIN^® G30^®

The premium engine coolant from BASF officially approved by many global automobile manufacturers. GLYSANTIN^® ensures that your cooling system works perfectly all year round. GLYSANTIN^® G30^® is a premium-grade coolant that is free of silicates. This product employs organic acid technology (OAT). It contains organic corrosion inhibitors to protect the cooling system. GLYSANTIN^® G30^® is colored pink.

DYNAGO™ Tropical Coolant

DYNAGO™ Tropical Coolant is specially formulated for use in tropical countries where low freezing point is not required. It is a cost effective alternative to anti-freeze coolants. DYNAGO™ Tropical coolant employs Organic Acid Technology (OAT) that provides robust and long lasting corrosion protection. This coolant is green in colour.

Fuel Additives

KEROPUR^® G

KEROPUR^® G multifunctional gasoline additives ensure your engine is clean and protect the entire fuel system. The additives removed already existing deposits (clean-up effect) and prevent the formation of new deposits (keep-clean effect).

Your clean engine will not only result in a longer engine life – you will also benefit from the better start-up and driving behavior, having restored the full potential of your engine. KEROPUR^® G‘s performance benefits do not mean you will have to compromise on other ends. By boosting your fuel‘s performance, you will also be able to reduce your engine‘s fuel consumption which in consequence also means less emissions.

KEROPUR^® DP

Our KEROPUR^® DP diesel injector cleaner ensures your diesel engine is clean and protects the entire fuel system. The injector cleaner removes existing deposits (clean-up effect) and prevents the formation of new deposits (keep-clean effect).

Your clean engine will not only result in a longer engine life, but also will benefit with better start-up, smooth driving behavior & restoration of full potential of your engine. KEROPUR^® DP provides excellent corrosion protection within the entire fuel system against rust formation. By boosting your fuel’s performance, you will also be able to reduce your engine’s fuel consumption which in consequence also means less emissions for environment protection.

Brake Fluids

The brake system is one of the most important safety features of a vehicle and therefore needs to meet the very high standards required by the automotive manufacturers and bodyshops.

HYDRAULAN^® 404

In the field of brake fluids BASF has developed a groundbreaking innovation! HYDRAULAN^® 404 is a tailor-made brake fluid for vehicles with electronic stability control systems (ESP^® and DSC). At low temperatures, this brake fluid has an extremely low viscosity. This enables pressure to build up more quickly and the wheelbrakes to respond more quickly.

HYDRAULAN^® 404 exceeds the new ISO 4925, Class 6 specifications and impresses with a boiling point of at least 265^°C, a wet boiling point of at least 175^°C and a viscosity at –40^°C of no more than 700mm2/s.
