Entwickelt in Zusammenarbeit mit CircularTree, ist PACIFIC jetzt im Catena-X Automotive Ecosystem im Cofinity-X App Store erhältlich. The groundbreaking PACIFIC app, which enables the exchange of Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data of BASF products, is now available. Developed in collaboration with CircularTree, PACIFIC is now available in the Catena-X Automotive Ecosystem in the Cofinity-X App Store.

PCF app PACIFIC launched on Cofinity-X

The PACIFIC app, a solution for the exchange of Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data of BASF products, is now available in the Catena-X Automotive Ecosystem in the Cofinity-X App Store. BASF customers can from now on register for the application. PACIFIC is a joint development of BASF and CircularTree.

Markus Dinslacken assumes new position at BASF’s Coatings division

Münster. Markus Dinslacken, former Chief Human Resources Officer, Fresenius Kabi AG, Bad Homburg, will take over the management of the Global People & Culture Coatings unit and the position of Managing Director at BASF Coatings GmbH on September 1. BASF Coatings has approximately 11,600 employees at 70 sites worldwide.

Outstanding design: Automotive color by BASF recognized with renowned Red Dot Award

The color ZENOMENON, designed by BASF's Coatings division, was the only automotive paint to be honored this year at the Red Dot Award: Product Design, one of the most prestigious design competitions in the world. The innovative technology and the special aesthetics of the coating have impressed the experts on the Red Dot jury in the "Materials and Surfaces" category.

BASF decides against investment in nickel-cobalt refining complex in Indonesia

Today, BASF announced that the company will not further evaluate a potential investment in a nickel-cobalt refining complex in Weda Bay, Indonesia. In 2020, BASF and Eramet, a global mining and metallurgical group, signed an agreement to jointly assess the potential of such a project.
